Job Details

We are looking to hire a barista based in Ajman.

Job Description:
Prepare speciality espresso-based drinks, manual brews, and other café beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.

Introduce new drinks for the cafe

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.

Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the POS system.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating area, and equipment.

Monitor coffee quality, extraction, milk texture, and presentation standards.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment calibration and cleaning.

Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies as needed.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.

Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Barista or in hospitality/customer service is preferred.
Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and coffee brewing methods is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
Basic cash handling and POS system skills.
Preferred Skills
Specialty coffee knowledge and latte art skills.
Experience with coffee grinder calibration and espresso machine maintenance.
Understanding of coffee origins, roasting, and brewing techniques.
Ability to upsell products and enhance the customer experience.
