Job Summary:
A Mobile Phone Tester is responsible for testing smartphones and mobile devices to ensure they meet quality, performance, and functionality standards before being released to customers. The role involves identifying defects, documenting issues, and working with development or quality assurance teams to improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test mobile phones for functionality, performance, and usability.
* Verify hardware components such as touchscreens, cameras, speakers, microphones, sensors, and buttons.
* Test software features, operating systems, and installed applications.
* Perform network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and battery performance testing.
* Identify, document, and report bugs or defects accurately.
* Conduct regression testing after fixes are implemented.
* Follow testing procedures, checklists, and quality standards.
* Maintain detailed records of test results and prepare reports.
* Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance teams to resolve issues.
