Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Purchase / Procurement Officer to join our contracting company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive material and service requests from Site Engineers and Project Managers.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
• Prepare and coordinate Purchase Orders (POs).
• Maintain and update supplier/vendor database.
• Follow up on material deliveries and ensure timely supply to project sites.
• Coordinate with Accounts regarding vendor payments.
• Collect and maintain procurement documents including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and receipts.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Track pending orders and prepare procurement status reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support cost control initiatives.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in a construction or contracting company in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Arabic speaking candidates will be preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Salary & Benefits:
• Salary: 4000 to 6000
• Employment visa and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
