TAXTech is a specialist Tax & Accounting Services provider serving both the expat community as well as locally established businesses, ensuring full compliance with the UAE statutory and regulatory requirements for all our clients. The language of business is English, and it is essential that the incumbent is fluent in English, with an impeccable ability and confidence to communicate with clients via email, or in video meetings in English. The company is based in Ajman and though the company is able to accommodate remote working, it is required that employees work from the offices in Ajman for at least four days a week.

Therefore, candidates based in Ajman will be preferred.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at TAXTech Global located in Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Accountant will also be involved in budgeting, auditing, and financial planning, and providing support during tax audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update financial records using QuickBooks accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
Prepare detailed financial reports and statements with a high degree of precision.
Use Excel to perform data analysis, generate reports, and streamline financial processes.
Keep multiple schedules and deadlines organized, providing timely updates and follow-ups.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations across financial and administrative functions.
Correspond and manage correspondence with external stakeholders and clients.

Ideal Candidate:
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero for accounting and financial management.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis, pivot tables).
Excellent content writing skills with a knack for creating professional and clear reports.
Highly organized with the ability to track and update schedules effectively.
Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
At least 5 years workplace experience as an Accountant.
Tax Experience and interaction with the UAE’s federal tax authority will be required.
Understanding of UAE tax laws is required.
