Bharatanatyam is more than learning dance steps—it is a journey of discipline, tradition, expression, and self-discovery. As a dedicated Bharatanatyam teacher and performer with 3+ years of teaching experience, my aim is to help students develop strong technique, confidence, grace, and a genuine love for this timeless art form.<br/>I have completed my B.A. in Bharatanatyam from Lasya College of Fine Arts in Kerala and have completed my M.A. in Bharatanatyam from Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts in Trichy. <br/>My classes follow a structured and progressive approach, focusing on adavus, aramandi, body alignment, rhythm, mudras, abhinaya, performance skills, and individual corrections. Along with practical training, students are introduced to the theory, history, terminology, and cultural significance of Bharatanatyam. Basic yoga and meditation are also incorporated to support strength, flexibility, balance, and concentration.<br/>Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your existing technique, my goal is to create a patient and encouraging learning environment where every student can grow into a technically strong, expressive, and confident dancer.
