### Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with prior experience in a *construction company*, along with practical knowledge of UAE VAT filing and corporate tax compliance, to manage accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
### Key Responsibilities
* Maintain daily accounting records, invoices, receipts, and payment transactions.
* Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
* Manage construction-related expenses, supplier payments, subcontractor invoices, and project cost tracking.
* Prepare financial reports, expense statements, and monthly accounts.
* Handle UAE VAT return preparation and filing, and assist with corporate tax filing.
* Maintain records of project costs, material purchases, and other construction expenses.
* Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, banks, and relevant authorities.
* Ensure timely tax submissions and compliance with applicable UAE regulations.
### Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* *Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction company in the UAE.*
* Practical knowledge of UAE VAT filing and corporate tax compliance.
* Experience with construction accounting, project costing, supplier accounts, and subcontractor payments.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Immediate joiners preferred.
